Math Foundations Program
Students enjoy exploring math in a classroom environment that encourages discovery and modern learning strategies. They have the opportunity to become independent learners, grow their critical thinking skills, learn new problem-solving techniques, and gain more confidence in their math abilities by bridging their knowledge gaps.
For students seeking to improve their math skills and knowledge (including their English-based math skills), the Math Foundation courses provide a thorough review of various levels of mathematics, including Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and Algebra II, for students aged 12 to 17 (with the possibility of considering younger ages). Students are tested upon arrival to ensure proper placement in one of the three offered math courses.
In these classes students play an active role in learning as well as in leading and participating in discussions.
I’ve seen a difference in how I solve math problems. I learned a lot and it was very helpful. This summer camp is the best summer camp I’ve ever attended!
