Helping students to balance their lives is part of King’s Academy’s guiding principles. We recognize that adolescence can be a period of emotional stress and adjustment. Our two full-time counselors are available to talk with students about any concern or they may refer a student to an outside therapist for ongoing counseling.
The counseling offices, located in the Academy Building and in the Health Center, have two primary roles: to serve the individual psychological needs of students and to foster the psychological health and well-being of the King’s Academy community. Services include individual and group counseling, psycho-educational programs, specialized training programs and consultation services to parents, teachers and departments.
