Children of the Al Ma'mooniyeh elementary school-who are also children of King's Academy faculty and staff-gather regularly on campus for an afternoon of reading, arts and athletics. The children meet with King's Academy students who act as big brothers and sisters. King's Academy students also read with the elementary students in the library and give them computer lessons or work on projects in the ceramics and art rooms. They often end the afternoon with an athletic activity such as playing a game of soccer or tag.
The program aims to strengthen King's Academy's bond with its neighboring communities and with the families of the Academy's faculty and staff.
