The Amman Athletics Conference (AAC) is comprised of 11 schools in the Greater Amman area: King’s Academy, the American Community School (ACS), the International Community School (ICS), the Amman Baccalaureate School (ABS), International Academy Amman (IAA), Amman Academy (AA), the Modern American School (MAS), Bishop’s School for Boys (BS), Repton New English School (RNES), the Ahliyyah School for Girls (ASG) and the Baptist School of Amman (BSA). Together, the schools schedule weekly interscholastic matches, culminating in a league tournament for each sport at the end of every season.
King’s is also a member of the Middle East Triangle Sports (METS) league, which brings together teams from Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates.
Each year, King’s hosts its highly anticipated basketball “Zarb tournament” which brings schools together for friendly matches followed by a culinary and cultural feast of zarb.
