Math Foundations Program

Math Foundations Program

Students enjoy exploring math in a classroom environment that encourages discovery and modern learning strategies. They have the opportunity to become independent learners, grow their thinking skills, learn new problem-solving techniques, and gain more confidence in their math abilities.

For students seeking to improve their math skills and knowledge (including their English-based math skills), the Math Foundations courses provide a thorough review of various levels of mathematics, including pre-algebra, algebra and geometry. Students are tested upon arrival to ensure proper placement in one of the two offered math courses.

In these classes students play an active role in learning as well as in leading and participating in discussions.
