School Re-Opening Fall 2020

Working together, staying safe

The government of Jordan has enacted one of the most effective COVID-19 responses in the world. In this context, in order for school to reopen as normally as possible for all students, King’s Academy will open with a program modified for social distancing.

Following national and international guidelines for preventing the spread of disease, our plan entails a new class schedule that reduces the number of classes and interactions per day, a shortened fall season to reduce exposure during flu season, increased hygiene and sanitation measures in all buildings, and social distancing and masking measures on campus.

Objectives

Jordan’s control over the virus so far enables schools to open with relative safety in relation to other countries. Nonetheless, social distancing practices provide a degree of additional protection that reduces risk for individuals and for the whole community.

King’s has enacted significant social distancing modifications to its program to advance two core objectives: to protect the health and safety of our students, families, and employees, and to provide the strongest possible learning experiences.
