King’s Academy, March 29, 2017 – At its February meeting, the King’s Academy Board of Trustees elected Ms. Sirine Sidani Abu Ghazaleh to become a trustee, bringing the board’s size to 14 members. Abu Ghazaleh is the founder and chairwoman and organizer of the annual Les Createurs Libanais exhibition which supports the development of talented Jordanian and Lebanese artists.

“Sirine’s passion for developing the arts in Jordan echoes our own belief in the importance of the arts at King’s,” said Headmaster John Austin. “We know she will help the school further advance in that area, and we are very pleased to welcome her on board.”

Extending his own heartfelt welcome to Abu Ghazaleh, Chairman of the Board HE Bassem Al Salem added: “As an active member of the Parent Council at King’s, Sirine will no doubt continue to bring that energy and enthusiasm to her new role and will be a tremendous asset to the board of trustees.”
