The dinner showcased dishes from all over the world to the hundreds of guests participating in the conference at King’s. With their own individual station, Parent Council members presented traditional Jordanian dishes including Musakhan chicken rolls and Knafeh, alongside other treats from around the world, such as samosas with special homemade chili sauce.

On October 10, Parent Council members Bayan and Imad Malhas hosted the first official Parent Council Fundraising Committee meeting at their home, where Headmaster John Austin and Chief Development Officer Rima Zaitoon presented future fundraising plans and discussed parent feedback. “We are thrilled to be working with our incredible King’s Academy parent community as we embark on the ambitious and exciting year ahead,” said Zaitoon.

Through the Parent Council, King’s Academy invites parents to become more active participants in their children’s education and in supporting the future of the school. As a young institution, King’s Academy depends on the time, effort and resources of parent volunteers – all of which have a substantial impact on the day-to-day life of students.
