September 7, 2007

King’s Academy, September 6, 2007 – Some 40 King's Academy parents and interested individuals from the local community convened in the King’s Academy Lecture Hall on Wednesday, September 5 to learn more about how US universities make their admission decisions.

The evening's event, held in English with Arabic translation, featured Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions at Northeastern University Wesley D. Roy, who focused on the US admissions process and what US schools look for in their applicants. Mr. Roy also spoke briefly about Northeastern, ranked among the US top 100 schools, and its programs.

Through events like this one, the King's Academy College Advising Office aims to engage parents and the local community in learning about university admissions and the college application process.
