King’s Academy, April 15, 2007 – As King’s Academy prepares to welcome its first class of students this fall, the school has opened its doors for potential students to test out life on campus. At the encouragement of King’s Academy’s Coordinator of the Athletics Program Emad Oddtallah, the campus indoor basketball court was host to two basketball games in recent weeks, welcoming some of these students to the competitive and fun spirit of the school.
In March, a group of male students came to play a heated game with assorted staff members, and one week later, a group of female students followed suit. Both games were attended by enthusiastic King’s Academy staff, who played or cheered on the sidelines. Before and after each game, the students had the chance to walk around campus and spend time learning more about the school with King’s Academy fellows, faculty, and staff members.
