King’s Academy recruits abroad

January 24, 2007

King's Academy, January 24, 2007  In addition to hosting information sessions and tours on campus nearly every week, King’s Academy is sending its top administrators abroad to host information sessions across the Middle East with the aim of recruiting students from throughout the region for its first class of August 2007.

Headmaster Eric Widmer, Chairman of the Board Safwan Masri, Director of Admissions Renee Dugan and Meera Viswanathan, the Sheikh Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa Distinguished Chair in the Theory of Practice of Knowledge, have all led these sessions, which are typically hosted at hotels. The team’s travels have so far taken them to Bahrain, Dubai, Egypt, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

“In our travels through the Gulf region and Saudi Arabia we have tried to manifest what we have always said—that King’s Academy will be a school for the entire Middle East,” says Dr. Widmer.
