This week, the King’s Varsity A boys’ soccer team defeated Madaba club Al Wahda 3-2 in the first game of the season. Goals from Issam Samardali ’19 and Faisal Hidayah ’20 were enough for the Lions to earn a win at home.

Last week, Middle Schoolers Nadine Fanous ’23, Zaid Fanous ’24, Cyntia Alsusi ’23 and Jafar Jarrar ’23 competed in the Jordanian Second Summer Open Swimming Championship. Alsusi received one gold, one silver and one bronze medal, in addition to setting a new Jordanian age group record for the 400 IM event, and Jarrar won a silver medal in the 400 IM. Go Lions!
