Students score high in CEMC math contest

Congratulations to King’s students who received distinction in the Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing, University of Waterloo (CEMC) contest which tests logical thinking and mathematical problem solving. Zhengyu Su ’21, Kareem Madanat ’21, Omar Talafhah ’20, Seokhyeong Hong ’20, Adnan Shabib ’19, Duanduan Lin ’20, Nadine Akkawi ’19, Hazar Ghaith ’19 and Yanlin Wu ’20 scored in the top 25% internationally!
 
Well done also to Lara Yousef ’21, Kareem Madanat ’21 and Seokhyeong Hong ’20 who achieved the highest scores at King’s from among the 37 students who sat for the Pascal, Cayley and Fermat math contests in grades 9, 10 and 11 respectively.
