The King’s Academy University Counseling Office (UCO) hosted its annual College Night for parents of seniors on August 20 during Orientation in the first week of the 2023-2024 academic year.
“We were excited to welcome anxious parents and keep them informed of the application timeline as well as student and parent expectations throughout the process,” said Dean of University Counseling Reida Baghdadi. “This has helped us start the year running!”
The UCO also had the opportunity to speak to parents of freshmen, sophomores and juniors on the same day.
“Parents of these grades often ask about what their students need to do prior to their senior year to best prepare for the application process,” said Baghdadi. “With families interested in universities all over the world, questions were varied and vast, and with our team’s combined experience of over 60 years, parents left the session informed and content with the support their children will have.”
