On April 17, weeks of preparation culminated in the first King’s Academy Sustainability Fair. Dozens of Jordanian companies, students and faculty members presented and exchanged over 40 distinct projects, ideas, and solutions towards a more sustainable culture, environment and future that they completed in their classes, clubs and co-curriculars.
The projects, demonstrating best practices in environmental sustainability, fell under four categories, including Engineers without Borders, Finding Wealth in Waste, King’s Reverses the Climate, and Sustaining Culture and Society. The aim was to cover a variety of interrelated themes such as ecology, economy, society and culture. More detail about the fair, the projects presented, and organizations represented can be viewed on the fair’s website.
