During the school meeting on Tuesday, September 30, King’s celebrated the academic achievements of over ninety students. The awards students received were based on their AP scores and their weighted GPA for grade 11.

AP International Diploma (APID): a globally recognized certificate awarded to students who display exceptional achievement across a variety of disciplines. Available to international students attending secondary schools outside the U.S. and to U.S. high school students applying to universities outside the country, the APID certifies outstanding academic excellence with a global perspective.

Cum Laude Society: As the Cum Laude charter and mission statement says, “Cum Laude is a Latin term that translates to "with honors." It is an academic distinction that recognizes students who have shown exceptional academic achievement.”As members of the society, King’s Academy may induct up to 20% of the senior class into Cum Laude each year. For this year, 10% of the senior class were awarded based on their weighted GPA for their Junior year. The other 10% will be awarded at the end of their senior year.
