Students, faculty, and parents from the King’s Academy community came together on Thursday, January 8, for the Polar Party, a campus-wide fundraiser in support of the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC).
Held at the campus stadium, the event welcomed nearly 200 participants who took part in a variety of activities, including a 20-minute walkathon, a 3 km race, interactive games, and the popular “Pie in the Face” challenge.
Students, faculty, and parents participated side by side in the 3 km race, with Matthew Fic ’26 winning the boys’ race and Raya Qubain ’27 claiming the girls’ title. All proceeds from the event were donated to support cancer care and research through the KHCC.
The evening concluded with a stargazing session at the Omar A. Aggad Observatory, offering participants a memorable end to a night centered on compassion, service, and community. The event was organized by the Office of Student Life and the Pre-Med Club as part of King’s Academy’s Community Weekend.
