Jordan’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom HE Mazen Homoud hosted a reception for King's Academy last week on the occasion of the meeting of the King’s board of trustees in London. Among the attendees were King's United Kingdom Charity Board members Hania Al Muhaisin and Richard Girling, nine King’s Academy alumni, the parents of some current King’s students, and friends of the school. In addressing his guests, Ambassador Homoud focused on the importance of education and on the leading role that Jordan has taken in the region in this regard. A few moments of silence were observed in honor of Jordan’s assassinated Lieutenant Muath al-Kassasbeh.
