King’s Academy welcomed grandparents and grandfriends for a special Middle School Grandparents Day, celebrating connection across generations and offering families a glimpse into daily student life. The event was organized with the support of Ms. Shireen Haddad, grandmother of 8th grader George Haddad, whose involvement helped make the day especially meaningful.

Guests were welcomed by Head of School Penny Townsend and Interim Head of Middle School Maymouna Sakho before joining classes, enjoying student musical and dance performances, and sharing lunch with students on the Commencement Lawn. The day reflected the strong sense of community at King’s and the vital role families play in supporting students’ educational journey.
