King’s Academy’s Dean of University Counseling Reida Baghdadi was a featured panelist during the Franklin University Switzerland Forum: “The Education Mosaic: A World of Perspectives" that took place on September 23 in Amman.

According to Franklin University Switzerland, the forum provided an opportunity for over 60 education professionals from different institutions in the region to delve deep into crucial discussions about education and its future trajectory during a series of three roundtables covering career readiness, the evolving paradigms of resource mobilization, and the lifelong impact of academic travel.

Baghdadi took part in the career readiness roundtable, which tackled the question of "balancing specialization and generalization in higher education: nurturing well-rounded graduates for enhanced employability.”

Baghdadi and the other panelists discussed collaborative approaches between academia and industry to design curricula that strike a balance between specialized training and general education in order to ensure students are equipped with a well-rounded skill set and knowledge base while also studying curricula that embrace diversity, rootedness, intercultural competencies, and acceptance in the 21st-century educational landscape. The panelists shared enlightening insights that promise a positive impact towards transformative educational pathways.
