Casting call

This week, seasoned veterans of the theater program at King’s Academy marshalled their skills to direct three plays for the English language portion of the Winter Play Festival. As a start, they auditioned students for original adaptations of Private Lives, by Noël Coward, directed by Dario Pomar ’19 and Zayd Lahham ’19; Waiting for Godot, by Samuel Beckett, directed by Kenan Hamarsheh ’19; and The Play That Goes Wrong, by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields, directed by Natasha Bakri ’19 and Kamal Fakhoury ’20. The Winter Play Festival takes place on March 25 (Arabic play) and March 26 and 27 (English plays).
