Alumni talk to parents and seniors about university life

Seniors and their parents had the opportunity to quiz alumni about what to expect when going abroad for university during a pre-departure orientation session organized by the University Counseling Office (UCO) on Sunday afternoon. A dozen alumni who have graduated from universities in Jordan, the United States and the United Kingdom returned to King’s to participate in the event. The session included a gathering for seniors and alumni outside the Gallery and a question and answer panel for parents in the Lecture Hall during which they discussed with alumni topics such as obtaining student visas, budgeting money and tuition, safety concerns, homesickness and staying in touch.
