It is an incredible honor to gain the confidence and trust of His Majesty King Abdullah II to serve as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of King’s Academy as of the latter part of the fiscal year 2020-2021.

In these few months, I have had the pleasure of witnessing firsthand the transformative effects that giving can have on King’s Academy. I am humbled to say that, with your generous support, we have raised an inspiring US $5,178,916. This has enabled us to offer each student with a personalized and outstanding educational experience, one that our faculty and staff members are proud to provide.

I am also truly in awe of your dedication and generosity that has allowed our financial aid program to continue to grow with our increased enrollment, whereby around 50% of students receive need-based financial aid. This rate is unparalleled within the region, and we owe a great deal of gratitude to you, our loyal donors, who continue to help King’s maintain such advancement.

Furthermore, your highly valued support has enabled the launch of many new funds and initiatives that support several creative yet essential opportunities, namely: scholarships, entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership and athletics. I am also immensely grateful for the substantial increase in parent giving and in staff and faculty engagement, not to mention the increased engagement of King’s alumni whose involvement is equally motivational in fostering a sense of community and belonging.

To our donors, who made this a year of record fundraising, on behalf of the King’s Academy Board of Trustees, thank you for inspiring us and for joining us in sustaining the vision of His Majesty. We are tremendously grateful for your unwavering support and, most importantly, for the confidence you have placed in us that will certainly pave a path to a brighter future.
