Merit Scholarship Program
The King’s Academy Merit Scholarship Program is designed to recognize outstanding academic achievement and significant potential to enhance the academic and social environment at King’s Academy. Small, fixed scholarships are awarded to select outstanding candidates applying for Grades 7 and 9. Students needing more significant support should apply through the financial aid program.
To maximize their experience, Merit Scholarship recipients are required to board from Grade 9 through graduation. The boarding program fosters independence, personal responsibility, and maturity. By living and learning in a residential environment, Merit Scholars gain a distinctive advantage in the university application process, as their commitment to education and readiness for the independence of university life abroad set them apart from other applicants.
Candidates are encouraged to apply early. Merit Scholarships are limited, awarded at the discretion of the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid, and may not be available in later rounds of admission.
