King’s Academy welcomes applications from students currently in Grades 6 to 11 who are applying to Grades 7 to 12.

King’s Academy Middle School is a day program. If the student’s parents reside in Jordan, they can apply to Grade 8 as a day student. We do not offer boarding for eighth graders; our boarding program starts in Grade 9.

For students younger than Grade 6, parents may submit a “Request for Information” form which will make sure your interest and contact details are saved with the Office of Admissions for future applications. You may also register your child in Summer at King’s Academy’s sports camp or academic programs, which are open to children aged six to 12.

The Office of Admissions welcomes scheduled visits on class days on a specific schedule. Please contact the Office of Admissions to request a campus visit! A campus visit includes both a campus tour and either a family meeting or an interview.

Recommendation letters should be provided by your current teachers. However, you can also submit additional recommendation letters from teachers who taught you last year, or from a previous school. You may also wait until the last step of the application process to submit the recommendation letter to give your current teacher more time to get to know you.

If you know that King’s Academy is the right school for you, you can apply for Early Decision. The Admissions Committee will review your application and get back to you by December 14, 2023 with a decision. This means that you will get a decision three months earlier than Regular Decision applicants, who are notified on March 14, 2024.

Yes. Although space is limited  for mid-year admissions, applicants are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Please contact the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid for further information.

Arabic Year at King’s Academy (AY) offers high school students and recent graduates the opportunity for short-term enrollment at King’s Academy, where they take a combination of specialized courses in Arabic language, history and culture, along with Advanced Placement (AP) courses in science, world languages, mathematics, English and the arts. King’s welcomes exchange students in Grades 10 to 12. Please contact the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid for more information.

In order to receive a diploma from King’s Academy, a student must have fulfilled the graduation requirements with at least six credits every year.

For students entering King’s Academy in their sophomore, junior, or senior years, the graduation requirements are pro-rated and are listed in the curriculum plan.

Yes. Jordanian students from national curriculum schools can join King’s Academy no later than in 10^th grade to complete the American High School Diploma.

Students from international systems other than the American system coming from local or international schools can join King’s Academy no later than in 11^th grade to complete the American High School Diploma.

Students coming from schools that run according to a calendar year and not an academic calendar will remain in their current grade level if they join King's Academy in the first (fall) semester and will be enrolled in the previous grade level if they join in the second (spring) semester.

Applicants can monitor the status of their application on the Veracross portal. It is your responsibility to make sure that you have completed the application and submitted all required documents before the deadline.
