The AP program offers several AP Scholar Awards to recognize high school students who have demonstrated college-level achievement through AP courses and exams. Although there is no monetary award, in addition to receiving an award certificate, this achievement is acknowledged on any AP Score Report that is sent to colleges the following fall.
In 2017, 128 King's Academy students were cited as AP Scholars.

The Advanced Placement International Diploma (APID) is a globally recognized certificate for students with an international outlook. The APID challenges a student to display exceptional achievement on AP exams across several disciplines.
Universities worldwide utilize the APID in admissions. Students may search AP International Recognition for universities outside the United States that acknowledge AP achievement. The APID is not a substitute for a high school diploma, but rather provides additional certification of outstanding academic excellence.
