Before joining King’s Academy in 2013 as a faculty member in the Department of History and Social Studies, Robbie Sue Weaver taught in the social studies department at Ramona High School in Ramona, California for 29 years. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Free Will Baptist Bible College in 1972 and her Master’s degree in economic education from the University of Delaware in 1995.
Ms. Weaver has focused her career on teaching economics. She co-founded the California Association of School Economic Teachers (CASET) and has also consulted for the Foundation for Teaching Economic Education, training teachers to teach economics in California and Michigan.
For over 10 years, Ms. Weaver has been a professor at Palomar College and a grader of the AP Macroeconomics exam. She has led College Board workshops on teaching to the microeconomics and macroeconomics exams and has presented at numerous College Board summer institutes.
