Born in Morocco, Mu'nis Mheidat moved to Jordan when he was four years old and later relocated to Saudi Arabia, where he finished high school. He attended Jordan's Yarmouk University, receiving a Bachelor's degree in Arabic literature before continuing on to pursue a Master's degree in literature and criticism from the same school. His thesis explored criticism of Andalusian literature.
After working as an Arabic teacher at Amman Academy (AA), Mr. Mheidat took a position as a teacher and coordinator of the Arabic department at Kingdom Schools in Saudi Arabia. During his 10 years there he took on many responsibilities, including editor of the school's magazine, head of the drama committee and supervisor of the school's summer camp. He joined the faculty of King's Academy in 2011 as an Arabic teacher in the Department of Communication, Rhetoric and the Literary Arts (CRLA).
