Mona Sami began her professional life while still studying. As a student at Cairo University, she taught English language, research and debate classes in the Junior Summer Program of the American University of Cairo (AUC). Upon graduation, she started teaching at Cairo University and AUC.
Next, Ms. Sami gained experience in the corporate sector, first in the field of human resource management in hospitality and then in the industrial field. She has also consulted for various organizations including NGOs, banks retailers, architects and interior designers, marketers, technology and telecommunication companies, as well as for government and private sector initiatives.
At King's Academy, Ms. Sami relies on her extensive experience in the fields of organizational development and change, performance management, process renovation, policy designing, manpower and talent development, payroll budgeting and monitoring, competency-based recruitment, as well as psychometric assessment and human resources strategic planning.
A fan of modern performing arts, Ms. Sami has also worked as a consultant for the Young Arab Theater Fund (YATF) and the Abu Dhabi Authority for Cultural Heritage, and as a production manager for a number of independent theater groups in Egypt.
