Born and raised in Oswiecim, Poland, Marta Fouser obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in linguistics and history from Uppsala University in Sweden. In 2004, she relocated to the United States and began teaching in the social studies department at Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.

In 2011, Ms. Fouser earned her second Master’s degree in liberal studies from Dartmouth College. Over the past 10 years, she has taught 20th century world history, AP European History and AP Economics courses at Brewster Academy. She has also worked at the Wolfeboro Summer Boarding School teaching English as a Second Language, writing and American history.

Ms. Fouser joined King’s Academy in 2014 as a faculty member in the Department of History and Social Studies. In 2016, she was named director of curriculum and instruction for the Middle School and began teaching humanities there as well.
