Linda Menton was born in Dublin, where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in geography and in Irish language and literature from the National University of Ireland. She also obtained a teaching qualification from the university. Over the years, she has taught a variety of subjects at middle and high school levels, including English, Irish, geography, psychology, art and religious studies.
In 2004, Ms. Menton obtained her qualification in special needs teaching from Trinity College Dublin. She taught in Dublin until 2005 and then moved to Kuala Lumpur to teach the International Baccalaureate (IB) system and lead service trips to Borneo and Cambodia. She joined King’s Academy in 2014 as a faculty member teaching English in the Department of Communication Rhetoric and the Literary Arts (CRLA) and psychology in the Department of History and Social Studies.
