Born and raised in Jordan, Khalida Mahadeen came to King’s Academy in 2007 with over two decades of experience in the healthcare field. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in education and psychology from the Sudan University for Science and Technology, in addition to numerous education and healthcare related certificates.
Ms. Mahadeen began her career as a nurse with the Jordanian Ministry of Health at Al-Karak Public Hospital in 1987. Over the next 16 years, she worked in the intensive and cardiac care units of the hospital before moving on to become certified as both a technical audiologist and behavioral therapy nurse. She also served as head nurse of the outpatient clinic and ophthalmology department at the Ibn Al-Haytham Hospital. Prior to joining King’s Academy, Ms. Mahadeen worked as a nurse at the Modern Montessori School in Amman.
In coordination with the medical director, Ms. Mahadeen has played an essential role in the development of the Health Center on campus. She is also an active member of several charity organizations in Jordan.
