Jan Flaska obtained a Master’s degree in divinity from Boston University and a Master’s degree in educational administration from Boston College. He is currently pursuing a doctoral degree from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago.

Mr. Flaska was an assistant coach for the boys’ ice hockey and lacrosse teams at Deerfield Academy, and the head coach of the Slovak National Lacrosse team. He has coached soccer at the University of Chicago, women's ice hockey at Harvard University and lacrosse at Boston University and the University of Chicago.  

Prior to joining King’s Academy as a faculty member in the Department of Ethics, Philosophy and Religion (EPR), Mr. Flaska was the dean of spiritual and ethical life and a teacher in the Philosophy and Religious Studies Department at Deerfield Academy.
