Born and raised in Malawi, Gertrude Dudley started as an elementary school teacher before marrying and moving to Arizona. She acquired diplomas in business administration and marketing, and a certificate in general management from Yavapai College.
For the last seven years, Ms. Dudley and her husband have chaperoned and hosted a number of international students from a school in Arizona to a village in Malawi for community service work. The group has helped build several houses and a community center, and has supported a local maternity ward with basic needs.
In 2011, Ms. Dudley joined King’s Academy as an assistant Round Square coordinator. She currently serves as a Round Square international student exchange and community partnership coordinator.
