Daniel Dudley joined King's Academy in 2011 as a faculty member in the Department of Mathematics. He grew up in northern Pennsylvania and attended Lock Haven University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in education.
Shortly after graduation, Mr. Dudley joined the Peace Corps and was assigned to teach secondary school math in Malawi. He enjoyed the experience to the extent that, upon completing his Peace Corps mission, he accepted a teaching position at a private school in the capital city.
In 1999, Mr. Dudley left Malawi to join the math department of Verde Valley School (VVS) in Sedona, Arizona, where he taught everything from algebra to AP Calculus. He also began leading trips for students to do volunteer work in a small village in Malawi. In 2004, he obtained an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
In 2017, Mr. Dudley was named Global Online Academy’s on-site coordinator.
