Alexander Funnell

Born in Athens and raised in London, Alexander Funnell came to the United States for high school. He then attended Tulane University, where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in environmental geoscience in 2008.

For five years, Mr. Funnell was a faculty member at the Forman School in Litchfield, Connecticut, where he taught geography and physics. In this capacity, he has focused on project-based learning with a kinesthetic approach to teaching.

Mr. Funnell joined King’s Academy in 2013 as a faculty member in the Department of Physical and Life Sciences. He became dean of residential life in 2016.
