Biography:

Lina Al Rababah is a multilingual professional with expertise in linguistics, translation, education, and creative writing, fluent in English, Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, and Spanish. She earned a B.A. in Chinese Language and Literature from the University of Jordan, where she won first prize in the 2012 Chinese Bridge competition and later completed a one-year exchange at Huazhong University. Ms. Al Rababah went on to become the first University of Jordan student to receive a full scholarship to Beijing University, earning an MA in Chinese Linguistics (2019), followed by an MA in Creative Writing with distinction from Northumbria University (2022). Her career spans translation, teaching, HR, and cultural exchange: she has translated major works, taught Chinese at King’s Academy and Arabic at Beijing University, and worked as a freelance tour guide in Jordan. Previously, with Huawei in Amman, Ms. Al Rababah managed employee relations, recruitment, and translation services for Chinese staff. A committed writer, she is developing a contemporary-historical novel on Petra, reflecting her creative vision and cross-cultural fluency.

In 2025, Ms. Al Rababah joined King’s Academy as a part-time faculty member in the Department of World Languages.
