Biography:

Thomas Allen is an experienced educator specializing in history, social studies, and German, with over a decade of teaching at Nauset Regional High School in North Eastham, Massachusetts. He has taught AP Microeconomics, AP Human Geography, Psychology, World History II, and all levels of German, including AP and honors. Since 2014, he directed an annual German Exchange Program with Gymnasium am Wirteltor in Düren, Germany. Mr. Allen holds an MEd in Curriculum and Teaching from Fitchburg State University and a BA in Political Science with a minor in German from Providence College. Previously, he served as an intern in the Office of the Chief of Staff at the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) in Washington, DC, where his responsibilities included promoting NEA initiatives on Capitol Hill and managing Congressional correspondence related to arts advocacy. Fluent in German and conversational in French, Mr. Allen also worked as an English Language Teaching Assistant through the Austrian Fulbright Commission (2009–2011), teaching in three secondary schools in Innsbruck, Austria, with a focus on conversational English, American culture, and Transatlantic Relations.

In 2025, Mr. Allen joined King’s Academy as faculty member in the Department of History, Religion and Society.
