Myrsini Georgila
Born and raised in Greece, Myrsini Manou Georgila moved to the United States to earn a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, global studies and Arabic studies at the University of Richmond.
While at Richmond, Ms. Manou Georgila volunteered as a math and reading tutor at a local learning center for four years, and interned at Summerbridge Hong Kong for two summers, teaching an interdisciplinary course on math and ancient civilizations.
After graduating, Ms. Manou Georgila served as a fellow in mathematics at Phillips Academy Andover for two years, teaching various math course levels. She was also a dorm counselor and coached boys’ and girls’ water polo. After concluding her teaching fellowship at Andover, she taught honors geometry and precalculus at the Hotchkiss School for one year while also serving as a dorm faculty member and an assistant coach for girls’ swimming and boys’ and girls’ track and field.
Ms. Manou Georgila joined King’s Academy in 2023 as a faculty member in the Department of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. In 2025, she became the house head of Murzim.
