Profile

An Ohio native, Hannah Hartshorn received a bachelor’s degree in human development and social relations from Kalamazoo College. She received her master’s degree in education with a focus on teaching multilingual learners in 2021 from Moreland University.

Ms. Hartshorn has spent many years teaching English to students of all ages across Jordan. Prior to her teaching career, she provided legal and humanitarian assistance to recently arrived refugees and asylum seekers in the United States. She is passionate about creating a welcoming learning environment where all students' individual learning needs are met.

Ms. Hartshorn joined King’s Academy in 2022 as a faculty member in the Learning Center at the Middle School. In 2025, Ms. Hartshorn joined the Department of Communication, Rhetoric and the Literary Arts as a faculty member.
