Born and raised in Jordan, Mohammad Al-Quraan was one of the first students to enroll at King’s Academy when it opened its doors, and graduated with the Class of 2010, the school’s first graduating class.

Mr. Al-Quraan graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in 2014 with a bachelor’s in civil engineering and a minor in economics, before obtaining a master’s in civil engineering from Virginia Tech in 2016.

Mr. Al-Quraan spent two years working as a geotechnical engineer for Geosyntec Consultants. He also worked in construction management and construction quality assurance services for numerous projects in Maryland, New York, Delaware and Montana before returning to Jordan to pursue his passion for mentoring and teaching.

In 2018, Mr. Al-Quraan joined King’s Academy as a faculty member teaching middle school math in the Department of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).. In 2019, he joined the Upper School where he currently teaches in the Department of STEM. In 2021, he also took on the role of Summer Enrichment Program (SEP) coordinator and became a class dean in 2022.
