Jordan native Yousra Al Dokum graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in music, majoring in piano with a minor in flute, from the National Music Conservatory in association with Yarmouk University. She also earned her Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music (LRSM) certificate in piano and choir conducting from the Royal School of Music in London.

Ms. Al Dokum has over 20 years of music teaching experience, including teaching piano, choir, history of music and its theories at Mashrek International School, Repton New English School and Al Jahez School.

A member of the Amman Philharmonic Orchestra since 2000, Ms. Al Dokum has also been performing with the National Music Conservatory orchestra for over five years. She has participated in a variety of international concerts and festivals, including in Egypt, Germany and Italy.

Ms. Al Dokum joined King’s Academy in 2018 as a faculty member teaching music in the Department of Art, Design and Technology.
