Hanan Al Bqour
Hanan Al Bqour graduated from the University of Jordan with a Bachelor’s degree in Arabic language and literature and a Master’s degree in modern literary criticism. She has 15 years of Arabic teaching experience at private schools in Amman including Cambridge High School, the International School of Choueifat and Amman National School.
Since 2012, Ms. Al Bqour has taught Arabic at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. She joined King’s Academy in 2016 as a faculty member in the Department of Communication, Rhetoric and the Literary Arts (CRLA) teaching Arabic at the Middle School, before joining the Upper School in 2019. The following year Ms. Al Bqour was appointed associate director of Arabic Year. In 2022, she was named director of Arabic Year.
