Biography:

Lara Al Masri is an experienced science educator and instructional leader with nearly three decades of experience in teaching, curriculum development, mentoring and environmental education. She served at King’s Academy for 15 years (2008-2023), teaching chemistry and marine biology, developing science curricula, coordinating the Eco-Schools program and supporting faculty through instructional coaching.

She has also worked with the Queen Rania Foundation and Jordan’s Ministry of Education, advising on teaching standards, teacher certification, curriculum and national education policies.

Ms. Al Masri holds an MSc in Multidisciplinary Studies/Education from SUNY Buffalo and a BSc in Chemistry and Biology from Yarmouk University. She also earned an Instructional Coaching Certificate from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education in 2024.

In 2026, Ms. Al Masri re-joined King's Academy as a part-time faculty member in the Department of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
