Admission Criteria and Prerequisites

Out of the students nominated by the Jordanian Ministry of Education directorates and UNRWA schools, King’s Academy selects 30 to 40 male and female students going into 7th grade. These children then return for two more years (until they are in the 8th grade going into the 9th). Selection is based on the following criteria:

  1. Excellent academic record
  2. Diverse extracurricular activities
  3. Leadership potential
  4. High level of motivation
  5. Adaptability
  6. English proficiency
  7. Financial eligibility requirements (applicants need to be from low income backgrounds)
  8. Diverse geographical backgrounds
  9. Currently attending a government/UNRWA/military school

Prerequisites

1. Completed application in English
2. English test
3. Interview
