Equal Opportunity Employment

Consistent with its mission and Guiding Principles, King's Academy is an equal opportunity employer. The Academy will recruit and employ the best qualified individuals on the basis of their ability to perform the required duties without regard to race, color, religion, creed, national origin, age, ancestry, sex, sexual orientation, marital or parental status, genetic information, disability or veteran status. Equal employment opportunity applies to all personnel actions such as recruiting, hiring, compensation, benefits, promotions, transfers, terminations, training and opportunities for training, and other terms, conditions and privileges of employment.

Beware of Recruiting Scams

King's Academy will not ask or require candidates to send money for application fees, interview fees, visas, plane tickets or other costs associated with recruitment or moving to Jordan. If you have been asked by King's Academy or another international school to send money to cover such costs, you are probably the target of an elaborate scam. Several good international schools have recently had their web sites cloned and candidates have been asked to send large amounts of money. All international candidates are urged to be diligent in investigating potential schools during the recruiting process and prior to signing a contract. Use extreme caution if you have been asked for money or private information.

King's Academy Smoking Policy

King's Academy is a smoke-free working environment. Smoking is prohibited in all dorms, residential faculty apartments, Academy buildings, public areas and school grounds.
