Solar energy project inaugurated at King’s Academy

Under the patronage of Jordanian Minister of the Environment HE Mr. Khalid Irani, King’s Academy today inaugurated an alternative energy pilot project entitled “The Solar World: Education in Renewables.” This venture, led by a joint German-Jordanian partnership, has chosen to use the Academy’s campus as the test site for its initiative.

Two students travel to London with HM King Abdullah II

Reed Ghandour ’11 and Adel Nesheiwat ’11 traveled to London this past week as the latest beneficiaries of an effort by His Majesty King Abdullah II to include King’s Academy students on international diplomatic voyages.

Columbia University provost speaks about US presidential election system

Columbia University Provost Alan Brinkley visited King’s Academy today and spoke to a gathering in the Lecture Hall about the American presidential election system. The event attracted both King’s community members and guests from Amman.
